A special conference rate of $135.00 plus tax per room has been set up at the DoubleTree Hotel.
Individual room reservations can be made directly with the DoubleTree Hotel requesting the Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters group block. A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is due for each room reservation. All reservations must be made by September 6, 2018 to guarantee your group room rate. All reservations made after that point will be based on availability and price set by the hotel.
The MPFF Convention will begin Monday at 12:00 noon until the end of business on Tuesday.
Opening Ceremonies will take place Monday at 12:00 p.m. General Session will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Monday evening President Parsons will host the President’s dinner beginning with a social hour.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Tuesday.
Edina Local 1375 will be our host local this year.
Registration for the Convention will be $150.00 per delegate if postmarked by August 24, 2018.
A $50.00 per Delegate/Alternate late fee will be charged for all registrations received after August 24 due to food and logistic deadlines imposed on the MPFF. It is highly recommended that you register and submit credentials prior to Convention. On-site registration will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. There will be no refunds for late cancellations or no-shows.
Credentials, Convention Check-in and Seating
Every delegate must include a signed credential form with their registration to be seated at the Convention.
Each delegate or alternate must check in prior to 3:00 p.m. on the first day of the Convention. Check-in must be done in person. No other delegate or alternate may check-in for another delegate.
Elections will be held on Tuesday Sept. 25, 2018 for the Secretary–Treasurer for 4-year term,
Central District Vice President, Central District At-Large Board Member/Trustee and Non-Fire Vice President for three-year terms.
Nominations will be taken for the 2020 Convention in the Southern District.
